What is

Sustainable Graphic Design?

Sustainable Graphic Design is a process with the environment and natural resources as the top priority.

There are three important components of sustainable graphic design:

  • As someone who understands the struggles of both artists and biologists, I am here to be an ethical designer that shares your priority for social, ecological, and necessary change.

I carefully consider the mission and values of the organizations I work with to ensure they possess a similar commitment to environmental sustainability and align with my own purpose.

  • From natural lighting during the designing process to heavily researching the products I sell, low waste + Earth-conscious practices are present throughout this business.

I choose to invest in tools that will last me years and use these tools to accomplish my work digitally, minimizing my consumption of even the most commonplace natural resources.

  • Compostable, PCW recycled, or reusable products + packaging are a huge priority for the hard goods I sell in my shop

As for digital work, I outline the ways my designs are allowed to be used and distributed. I do not support the use of my artwork on single-use plastics, for campaigns that promote misinformation, and for projects that contribute to environmental damage. I can offer resources to businesses that are looking to promote and grow in an environmentally friendly way.

In addition to these principles, the profits generated from my designs allow me to financially support and initiate wildlife conservation projects.
